My point is that I don't believe that 'things' (human, animal, vegetable, or mineral) have a 'true name' per se, partly as I don't believe in their being a pre-existant universal language - at least not in the form we generally think of language. It could be argued that vibrational frequency, atomic components, DNA structure, etc. all represent a language and 'true name' for a 'thing'. As for forming the words for a magical language, I think we need to understand the purpose of words in magical language first. Understanding WHY we need words in a magical language is the key, I believe, to determining HOW to form them. So the question remains, why use words at all...
